About Me

Lately I've been trying to push my online "handle" to be Aobambi or Softplop, please in online settings refer to me by either of those names rather than my actual name if you happen to know it. My pronouns are she/her. I am 32 years old as of writing this. I work with dogs on a professional level. I am married and my husband is an artist. We have a dog together. He does not claim parental responsibility over any of my fish or plant related endeavors. My first introduction to posting inane thoughts on the internet occurred in 1999, when my school friends told me about a website called neopets. I rang in the millenium while posting on the neoboards while my neopets starved. Eventually, social media became a thing, and it was time to put childish things aside to start posting on websites that let you say "fuck". Myspace to Facebook. Livejournal to Tumblr. Tumblr to Twitter then back to Tumblr. Dualwielding while waiting for one or both to inevitably fail. And so on.

My Hobbies

Fishkeeping. Collecting toys and physical media. Buying and wearing clothes. Cooking and eating food. Going on long walks by myself so I can listen to audiobooks. Thinking about writing and/or drawing but not actually doing either. Film photography and making mixtapes.

Other Interests

Stationery, british comedy, shoujo manga, horror novels, vintage and antique housewares, our flag means death, sanrio character lore.
